| Dudley | Friends of Priory Park Priory Park in Dudley takes its name from the old Priory of St James's, the ruins of which are a prominent feature in the grounds of the park. The Priory, not far from Dudley Castle, was first founded by Gervase Paganell, Lord of Dudley, in the 12th Century, and was closed by Henry VIII in the 1530's. The ruins of The Priory were restored to their current form, and the grounds became a park, during the 1930's. The park is one of several key attractions which can be found near the centre of Dudley. The group "Friends of Priory Park" (FoPP), who maintain this web site, was founded in February 2002 to campaign to maintain Priory Park as an attractive amenity for the local community and visitors to the area.

| Southwark Friends of Peckham Rye Park Peckham Rye Park is one of the most beautiful parks in South London. Opened in 1894 it enjoyed many years of excellent up keep and attention. Sadly, as with most Victorian parks, after the war it was badly neglected.
In 1995 The Friends of Peckham Rye Park was formed.
It was felt that an action group was needed to stop the park from falling into further disrepair. The group also felt that an organisation was needed for any affairs to do with the park from anti social behaviour to saving trees.
